Mr. Carello has over 13 years of experience in the
development and construction of Mixed-use Development Projects
throughout the Toronto area. He was recently the owner’s representative
for two large high-rise developments involving ground-up construction
and “green field” construction where he managed the consultants, oversaw
the design process, developed construction budgets, prepared schedules
and supervised the construction manager’s progress. As a result, Nick
has developed a highly specialized skill set in Construction Management
and Site Coordination. Acting as lead Project Manager on several client
accounts, Nick is responsible for the management and construction site
coordination of various commercial fit-out projects as well as several
large scale construction demolition projects.
Prior to joining Cityspace, Nick was a highly recognized
Construction Finishing Supervisor with Tridel Developments. He has been
involved and managed various aspects of the construction process, from
the early stages of excavation to the elaborate building construction.
As Senior Construction Manager responsible for a $50M development
project, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of these
developments from initial design development, to working drawing
coordination, tendering, contract award, the construction build out
process and final turnover.
